Q: How long will therapy last?
A: The length of therapy varies a great deal depending on the issues to be overcome. However, I will help you in the shortest time possible while making sure not sabotage the therapy by "hurrying" it too much. On average, therapy lasts 3-6 months.
Q: What can I expect at my first appointment?
A: At your first appointment, we will talk about the reasons that you are seeking therapy and what you hope to get out of it. This is done in a relaxed and conversational manner. You will be listened to and treated with care and respect. You will not be judged; healing takes place through self- knowledge, understanding, acceptance, and care. Your counseling experience will reflect these values.
